The Benefits of Dry Brushing
It has immediate results, both in the appearance of the skin and in the long term in the health and good functioning of your skin.
Exfoliate skin:
Dry brushing helps exfoliate dull, dead skin cells on the surface to reveal smoother, softer skin.
Massage that revitalizes the body and spirit:
In Ayurveda, dry brushing is traditionally used to rid the body of ama (toxins that build up in the body) and stimulate the lymphatic system. Scientific studies on dry brushing show that it stimulates the lymphatic system. If you try dry brushing, you'll likely agree that it feels fantastic and has a way of awakening your whole self - body and mind.
Increases circulation and blood flow:
Dry brushing can help promote local circulation to stimulate and renew the skin through moderate friction.
Choose a good brush: Metallic bronze (monastic brush) or pure, natural sisal, medium hardness for exfoliation. Removes dead skin to reveal glowing and soft skin.
Do Dry Brushing before your morning shower and enjoy its rejuvenating effects, both on the body and the face, with a unique feeling of comfort and well-being that fills you with energy for the day ahead.
Do Dry Brushing before your evening bath and wake up with a skin that is clearly more strengthened and elastic.
And a myth, busted:
According to a related research from the Cleveland Clinic, the skin is clearly more strengthened and elastic (as a result of increased blood circulation) which reduces the appearance of cellulite, fine lines on the face, while our skin is firm. Without further ado, although the result is clearly visible, we always recommend combining it with a good body oil or serum that targets collagen production and holistically addresses the need.
How we do Dry Brushing

Brush for three to five minutes for optimal awakening and energy.

Symmetrically, from the inside out start from the forehead upwards. Continue on the cheeks outwards from the base of the nose, to the cheekbones and always upwards. Don't forget the neck and the back of the neck.
Make sharp upward movements and "paint" the entire area from the base of the décolleté to the chin. Repeat each movement 2-3 times or until you feel that the area has been activated satisfactorily.
And while the practice of dry skin brushing once or twice a day with a soft but firm brush helps with lymphatic detoxification—during a detox treatment—regulars and fans report that its benefits multiply when it becomes a permanent habit.
