In ancient Greek mythology, Sycaeus, a Titan, is transformed into a fig tree by Gaia's mother, thus saving him from the wrath of Zeus. 'Athenean' is an ode to the glory of this ancient tree that frequents even the most inaccessible slopes overlooking the blue. The emphasis is on the fragrant fig wood in this bouquet. Aquatic notes of green fig are balanced by warm, milky base notes of sandalwood and white musk.
